The Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, CP Mohammed Lawal Yusufu met with the Northeast Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman, Bishop Mohammed Naga, to strategize security arrangements for the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations in Borno.

Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, disclosed that the meeting was held at the State Command Conference Hall Maiduguri.

During the meeting, the commissioner assured that the command will deploy adequate security personnel to all churches to prevent any disruptions and ensure a hitch-free Christmas and New Year’s services.

The Northeast CAN Chairman acknowledged the command’s consistent efforts in safeguarding the state and pledged to support the police in achieving their mandate
